These leadership appointments introduce a strategic category management framework designed to align Ewing’s product expertise with core operational functions that drive success for professional landscape contractors on every jobsite. By shifting from traditional product silos, Ewing is adopting a more customer-centric strategy aimed at providing integrated solutions and maximizing collaborative opportunities across the company’s extensive service network.
A Strategy Built for the Customer
These newly formed teams are structured to support the distinct operational needs of Ewing’s diverse customer base:
- Construction & Installation: Led by Daryl Irsik, this team oversees outdoor living, irrigation, hardscape, and bulk and aggregates.
- Maintenance & Agronomics: Led by Michael Maravich, this team manages turf and ornamental (T&O), landscaping supplies and tools, equipment, mulch, soil, sports field, compliance, and technical T&O services.

Daryl Irsik: Director of Construction & Installation
Daryl Irsik brings a wealth of experience as a sales and management executive with a proven ability to lead teams to profitability and success. Previously serving in a key leadership role within Ewing’s hardscapes division, Irsik has a consistent record of success in developing new markets and managing national sales force initiatives.
Prior to his tenure with Ewing, Irsik served as Vice President of Retail Sales for Pavestone Company, overseeing their sales team, servicing a diverse national customer base. His expertise in building materials and business development strategy will be instrumental in driving growth within the construction and installation segments.
Michael Maravich: Director of Maintenance & Agronomics
Michael Maravich has devoted the past three years to Ewing, most recently leading the strategic direction for the Turf and Ornamental category. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Turfgrass Management, Maravich began his career as a golf construction superintendent before holding diverse sales and marketing roles at LESCO/John Deere Landscapes.
Maravich’s extensive background includes leadership roles focused on product and business development, sales, and marketing for major manufacturers such as Arysta Lifescience, Sipcam Agro USA and others. In addition to his professional roles, he served on the board of directors for RISE, and currently with Primera, Inc., and Project Evergreen, reinforcing his commitment to industry-wide growth and service.
