Marking its ninth location in the state, Ewing adds a branch in Bend to expand service to central Oregon.
April 24, 2009, Phoenix, Ariz. – Responding to the growing population in Central Oregon, Ewing Irrigation Products opens a new location in Bend.
Located at 20525 Robal Rd. #106, the 6,000-square-foot facility runs under the management of John Low, a 25-year Green Industry veteran. A long time member of the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association (OLCA) and the Oregon Golf Course Superintendents Association (OGCSA), Low is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) through the Irrigation Association (IA) and currently serves as chapter treasurer on OLCA’s Central Oregon Chapter Board.
Holding a degree in Turfgrass Management from Central Oregon Community College, and a degree in Automated Systems Technologies from Mt. Hood Community College, Low has taught Green Industry classes at a local community college for the last 14 years and plans to use his experience and knowledge of the industry to serve his customers.
“I want central Oregon contractors to rely on us as a fully-stocked branch and resource for training,” said Low. “We offer training sessions ranging from irrigation troubleshooting and soil amendments to herbicide applications and customer development and prospecting strategies.”
