So Where’s the Best Place to Buy Bistro Lighting?

We started this bistro lighting series with a focus on how to build your business with bistro lighting, and then introduced you to some of the opportunities at your disposal for bistro lighting applications.

In the third post of this series, I want to focus on distribution—and why Ewing is your best choice for bistro lighting and accessories.

So why buy bistro lighting from Ewing? The answer is simple: We’ve got your back!

With Ewing, you can:

  • See before you buy. We offer a display of the products we sell in most locations, allowing you to view the products on display prior to making a commitment to buy.
  • Get the best products. We’ve researched quality products that stand the test of time. In addition, we’ve researched current product offerings available on the market, and fine-tuned our product offering to fit the needs of our customers.
  • Find the right mix. Ewing’s commitment to you—the customer—is to give you the best products and options available. Our vendor relationships allow us to identify gaps in the current product offerings of individual manufacturers and fill those holes with a variety of products from several suppliers, rather than subjecting you to a single product line.
  • Get the right knowledge and support. Our knowledgeable staff is on-hand to help answer your questions about the products, and how they are installed. And in the unlikely event that you encounter any product-related issues, it’s nice to know your friendly Ewing staff is close by to help make the situation right!

Ewing will also help you stay ahead of the curve. We actively pursue the development of products more specific to our core customer base. Many of our customers are not licensed electricians, but are very comfortable installing low-voltage lighting in and around a property.

As a result, we’ve partnered with our manufacturers to develop a high quality, dependable 12-volt version of the current 120-volt bistro lighting offering. The new 12-volt product line is production based, allowing the contractor to purchase spools of the socketed cable to be cut to any desired length for greater design flexibility.

The 12-volt LED lamp mirrors our the 120-volt Edison-style LED lamp, in that they are both 2,200K for easy color match, but the 12-volt system is more flexible with its cut to length spools for easy installations.

When used with a 12-volt AC dimmer, these lamps will give you complete control over the light levels, allowing you to set the light intensity to match the mood of your clients.

It's not intended as a complete replacement for our 120-volt, plug-and-play products, but instead serves as an easy, add-on opportunity for professional landscape lighting installers. In fact, 12-volt cable runs can even be installed using the same transformers and cables used to power the landscape lighting system!

You might be able to find obscure internet specials at a cheaper price, but remember this: the bitter taste of poor quality lingers long after the sweet taste of a low price is gone.

Ewing’s success is irrevocably tied to your success as a professional contractor—and when you succeed, we grow the business together. Remember these four words: Ewing has your back!
