For ProAdvantage members, the annual Golf Getaway in Scottsdale is more than just a trip – it’s one of the most anticipated experiences of the year.
This year’s getaway brought members together at Talking Stick Resort for a few days of great golf, great hospitality, and even better company. From the moment attendees arrived, the focus was simple: relax, enjoy the game, and connect with fellow professionals who share a passion for the industry.
One of the biggest highlights of the trip was attending the Waste Management Phoenix Open, one of the most exciting events in professional golf.
ProAdvantage members had exclusive access to The Cove, one of the tournament’s most sought-after hospitality areas. With premium views of the course, great food, and an energetic crowd, members experienced the tournament in a way most fans never get to.
It was the perfect chance to watch the pros up close while enjoying a VIP experience alongside other members.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a golf getaway without some time on the course.
Members had the chance to play in the hosted Pink Ball Tournament, a fun and competitive round that quickly became a favorite part of the trip. The format encouraged teamwork and a little friendly rivalry while giving everyone time to enjoy the course and connect with other professionals.
For many attendees, the real highlight wasn’t just golf – it was the connections they made on the course.
For Daryl Ottaviano of Custom Lawn Care & Landscape in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the atmosphere among members made the experience especially memorable.
“Everyone was happy and positive,” he said. “If you had a question, someone was ready to answer it. It was nice talking to people from different regions and seeing what they’re doing.”
Throughout the getaway, members shared meals, business insights, and stories during hosted dinners and informal conversations. Those moments often turned into valuable opportunities to learn from others in the industry.
“The dinners were a great time to network and learn from one another,” Ottaviano said. “It was a really good group of guys, and everyone had the chance to share stories and experiences.”
For Jeremy Moore of Black Tie Landscaping in Gentry, Arkansas, the trip also showed what makes the ProAdvantage program unique.
“It was humbling to see the appreciation Ewing has for its customers,” Moore said. “It shows that the program is about more than just points and that it’s about feeling recognized and valued.”
For Moore, the combination of attending the Open and playing golf alongside fellow professionals made the trip unforgettable.
“Being at the Open and playing golf with some of the other guys really made it stand out,” he said. “It was a great way to connect with peers and see how others approach their work.”
Experiences like the Golf Getaway are one of the reasons ProAdvantage continues to stand out. Members can redeem points for exclusive trips, memorable destinations, and opportunities to connect with others who understand the challenges – and rewards – of the industry.
