Official Rules
Eligibility
Legal U.S. residents, ages 18 or older, are eligible to enter this contest. No purchase necessary. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, states, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Ewing Irrigation Products and their relatives are ineligible to win.
Terms and Deadlines
The contest is located on Ewing’s blog, Waterblogged. Entries must be submitted by posting photo captions in the blog comment form below the photos posted during the contest period. A valid email address must be used to submit the comment, and will be used to contact winners. Please note that each blog comment/entry will be moderated. Entries will not appear in the blog comment section until it has been reviewed by a blog administrator or moderator. Entries and/or comments deemed off-color, obscene, vulgar or profane per the moderator’s discretion, will not be published. All submissions become the property of Ewing Irrigation Products.
You may enter as many times as you like. Entries must be the entrant’s original work and must have been solely created by entrant.
This contest will begin at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on June 25, 2012, and will end Sunday, July 1 at 11:59 p.m. (PST). Entries must be submitted by the end time and date to be considered. One first place and one second place winner will be chosen. Additional Honorable Mention winner(s) may be selected by the judges to receive a prize.
Judging Criteria & Winner Notification
Entries will be judged by the Ewing public relations department. Prize winners will be selected based on funny, creative, or clever caption writing.
All prize winners will be chosen and notified by email on Monday, July 2, 2012. Winners will be notified by the email address they used to submit their entry.
Prizes
Prize winners must provide a valid U.S. mailing address to receive prize. Prizes will be mailed within 7 days of the contest end.
Additional Information
The winner’s name, city, and state will be included with the winning caption and published by Ewing at its discretion. A list of winners will be posted on Ewing blog on Monday, July 2, 2012.
All decisions regarding the administration of the Ewing Photo Caption Contest shall be made solely by Ewing and shall be conclusive, final and binding. Ewing shall resolve anyinterpretations, disputes or questions regarding the administration or management of the contest.
All contestants hold Ewing and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, any of its respective partners or prize suppliers harmless for, from and against, any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive or other damages, demands, claims whether legal or administrative in nature, tax liability, expense, nonperformance, misperformance, accident or injury of any nature whatsoever incurred (including an award of attorneys’ fees) in the course of an award recipient’s use (or misuse) of any contest winnings. All submissions sent to Ewing shall be and remain the exclusive property of Ewing.
Ewing may, in its discretion, restrict or remove any and all content from a submission. Contestants have no expectation of privacy with regard to any submitted content, including email addresses or U.S. mailing addresses. Ewing covenants and agrees that all personal information it receives in connection with the contest will only be utilized for contest purposes and will not be disseminated to a third-party.
Ewing is not responsible for correspondence (including prizes or awards) that are lost or stolen in the U.S. mail.
