Eligibility
Legal U.S. residents, ages 18 or older, are eligible to enter this contest. Employees of Ewing Irrigation Products and their relatives are ineligible to win.
Contest Period
This contest will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on July 25, 2012, and will end July 31 at 11:59 p.m. (PST).
Terms and Deadlines
The contest is located on Ewing’s blog, Waterblogged, and on Ewing’s Facebook page:
To enter, entrants must answer a smart irrigation-related contest question posted by Ewing. One question will be posted daily from July 25-28 on the Ewing blog, Watterblogged, and on the Ewing Facebook page. One entry will be allowed per question, per entrant. Multiple comments submitted by an entrant for a question will be considered as a single entry. Entries must be the entrant’s original work and must have been solely created by entrant. Entries must be submitted during the contest period. Entries must be submitted by 11:59 (PST) on July 31, 2012 to be considered.
A valid email address/Facebook profile must be used to submit the comment, and will be used to contact winners. Each comment/entry will be moderated. Entries will not appear in the blog comment section until it has been reviewed by a blog administrator or moderator. Entries and/or comments deemed off-color, obscene, vulgar or profane per the moderator’s discretion will not be published, or will be removed. All submissions become the property of Ewing Irrigation Products.
Judging Criteria & Winner Notification
Entries will be judged by the Ewing Public Relations Department. Prize winners will be selected based their comment/entry’s thoroughness in answering the question, and the quality and thoughtfulness of the entry.
All prize winners will be chosen and notified by email or Facebook message by Aug. 3, 2012. Winners will be notified by the email address or Facebook profile they used to submit their entry.
Prizes
Ewing will award a total of four prizes. Each prize is one (1) Irri-tool. The approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize is $22.65. Prize winners must provide a valid U.S. mailing address to receive prize.
Prizes will be mailed within four weeks of the contest end.
Additional Information
The winner’s name, city, and state will be included with the winning entry and published by Ewing at its discretion. A list of winners will be posted on Ewing blog by August 3, 2012.
All decisions regarding the administration of the Ewing Smart Irrigation Contest shall be made solely by Ewing and shall be conclusive, final and binding. Ewing shall resolve any interpretations, disputes or questions regarding the administration or management of the contest.
All contestants hold Ewing and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, any of its respective partners or prize suppliers harmless for, from and against, any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive or other damages, demands, claims whether legal or administrative in nature, tax liability, expense, nonperformance, misperformance, accident or injury of any nature whatsoever incurred (including an award of attorneys’ fees) in the course of an award recipient’s use (or misuse) of any contest winnings. All submissions sent to Ewing shall be and remain the exclusive property of Ewing.
Ewing may, in its discretion, restrict or remove any and all content from a submission. Contestants have no expectation of privacy with regard to any submitted content, including email addresses or U.S. mailing addresses. Ewing covenants and agrees that all personal information it receives in connection with the contest will only be utilized for contest purposes and will not be disseminated to a third-party.
