Three additional Texas branches will open during the first quarter of 2008.
January 15, 2008, Phoenix, Ariz.—In Lewisville, Texas, where population is generating a prime market for new business development, Ewing Irrigation, Golf & Industrial opens its 33rd Texas location. Three additional Texas locations will open during the first quarter of 2008 in Brownsville, South San Antonio, and Killeen.
Marking Ewing’s first location in Denton County, the Lewisville store and warehouse totaling 10,500 square feet will provide wholesale products to landscaping, turf, golf, and industrial professionals. Smith Construction designed and constructed the development, which resides on a one-acre piece of land located north of Skinner Nurseries at 1810 Midway Rd.
In water-parched Texas, new residential and commercial owners are charged with incorporating water-efficient irrigation products into their daily operations, giving Ewing the opportunity to help water authorities spread awareness about the many water-efficient irrigation products currently available on the market.
“Lewisville is in a Stage 1 drought, which means residential and commercial property owners are charged with voluntary conservation,” said Ronnie Wright, manager of Ewing’s Lewisville location. “Along with proper watering practices, we want people to know they can save a substantial amount of water by installing products like smart irrigation controllers, rain sensors, and MP Rotators.”
To support industry professionals, Ewing’s Lewisville location will be offering monthly training classes pertaining to various subjects such as water management, lighting, and agronomics.
