In cold climates, begin irrigation start-ups when the soil on site has thawed to a depth of one foot. In warm climates, perform an annual irrigation check in the spring to fix leaks and any other issues.
Check the controller to ensure the settings and schedule are ready for the season! Check sprinkler heads, nozzles, valves and pipes to make sure everything is in good working condition. Run the system to check for coverage, overspray and runoff.
