New openings in Tumwater and Burlington allow Ewing to reach wide range of state’s customers.
April 16, 2008, Phoenix, Ariz.—Ewing Irrigation, Golf & Industrial opened two new branches in Tumwater and Burlington; expanding service to customers in the western part of Washington, these branches will accompany Ewing’s four existing Washington locations, the first of which opened in 2005.
Putting up stakes in an existing building located at 5880 Linderson Way, Ewing’s Tumwater location was renovated by Poe Construction and totals 7,100 square feet. Taking the helm as branch manager, Dominic Corriveau, nine-year Green Industry veteran, is looking forward to becoming the most efficient provider of goods and services in Western Washington, and spreading awareness about water conservation in the landscape environment.
Located about 130 miles north on the I-5, the Burlington branch was newly developed by Poe Construction, and boasts 10,500 square feet. Scott Nielson, nine-year Green Industry veteran, was appointed manager of the store and warehouse located at 555 E. George Hopper Road.
Nielson hopes his customers will see him as a business partner who can offer strategies, product knowledge and education. “I can show the irrigation contractor who has never done ponds or lighting how to triple his or her business.”
Both Nielson and Corriveau aim to generate awareness of their locations, as well as to educate customers on the wide variety of products and services that Ewing has to offer outside of irrigation.
“I want to be the gold standard, and I believe the most effective tool in accomplishing this is through my staff,” says Corriveau. “We pride ourselves on building mutually profitable customer relationships that are based on trust and reliability—a satisfied customer is our top priority.”
In late spring, Ewing will further deepen its footprint in Washington with new locations in Pasco and Spokane.
