New Hardscape Team members to provide additional service and education to professional landscape, irrigation and hardscape contractors.

September 9, 2010, Phoenix, Ariz.—Landscape professionals seeking new business development opportunities can now take advantage of the products, education and technical expertise offered by Ewing’s three new hardscape experts.

“Adding hardscape installation or maintenance to one’s service offering provides landscape and irrigation contractors with a huge opportunity to grow their business,” said Bruce Basehore, national product manager for Ewing’s Hardscape Division. “Our team is prepared to assist newcomers to the field, as well as those contractors whose primary business is hardscape.”

According to the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), more than 800 million square feet of pavers are sold annually in the United States and Canada. Hardscape offers contractors a ripe opportunity to expand their scope of services.

Ewing’s hardscape line includes interlocking and permeable pavers, garden and retaining wall blocks, and supporting products such as polymeric joint sand and geotextile fabric. Ewing also offers a complete line of hardscape maintenance and erosion control products from premier manufacturers.
