Specializing in pumps, electrical, lighting, water features and drainage, Travis Lackey is prepared to assist you with any job, large or small. As manager of Ewing’s Augusta, Ga. location, Lackey oversees branch operations, cultivates and maintains customer relationships, and provides sales support and business development opportunities for customers in the Augusta area.
His responsibilities also include employee management, inventory management, branch marketing and events, residential and commercial sales and account management.
Prior to joining Team Ewing in 2003, he sold, serviced and repaired power equipment at a local rental business for 12 years. When the business was acquired by Stovall & Company in 1998, he stayed on as an irrigation supplier and professional lawn care equipment sales representative. In 2001, Lackey opened Irrigation Solutions, Inc., an irrigation supply house, in Augusta, which was purchased by Ewing in 2003.
Lackey believes being knowledgeable is the best way to serve customers and provide the best assistance every day. Treating customers right is what he enjoys most about his role. Outside of work, Lackey enjoys restoring antique muscle cars and 4x4 trucks.
