Ewing, the nation’s largest family-owned supplier of landscape and water management products in the country, recently opened its newest location in Charleston. The goal of North Charleston branch manager, Lee Hinton, is to provide timely service and quality products to customers. “ We plan to get orders right the first time,” he said. He also plans to help contractors be successful and profitable with Ewing’s advantages, including year-end rebates, credit services, job tracking, volume-purchase discounts and more. The branch is the fourth Ewing location to open in the Carolinas since 2010. Other locations include a Columbia, S.C. branch and two Charlotte, N.C. branches. Steven Johnston, Ewing’s East Coast Regional Manager, said the new branch is in a prime location, as the Charleston market is anticipated to grow with new homes, schools, and retail development. “This is a great time for Ewing to lay down its foundation of facilities and people so that we are ready for the growth,” Johnston said. He said Ewing’s focus on well-stocked warehouses and experienced and knowledgeable staff will offer customers superior customer service in the growing market.
