Ewing Offers Turf and Hardscape Expertise in Oregon and Washington

Northwest contractors have hardscape, erosion control, turf and agronomic advice at their disposal at Ewing. 

July 28, 2011, Phoenix, Ariz.— Contractors in the Northwest now have the additional support of two Ewing professionals, specializing in turf and hardscape products.

Martin Cottle, Turf Products Specialist, and Rich Nichols, Hardscape Specialist, provide product education, quoting, estimating and additional services to contractors, agencies and other landscape professionals.

Martin Cottle will assist customers in Washington with erosion control, agronomic, turf and sports field needs.

With more than 23 years of experience in the Green Industry, Cottle specializes in fertilizer, chemicals, plant protectants and seed.

Prior to his recent appointment to Ewing’s Turf Products Team, Cottle previously served as a district sales manager for TruGreen; as regional sales manager for Orkin’s lawn care division; and as a territory sales manager for United Horticultural Supply and Wilco.

Rich Nichols, formerly a regional manager for Ewing, has now joined the company’s team of hardscape specialists.

Nichols provides hardscape sales, service and support to Green Industry professionals in Washington and Oregon through a network of 18 Ewing locations.

He has more than 25 years of Green Industry experience, having previously provided irrigation sales management for HD Fowler, Hunter Industries, and his own company, Pacific Sales Company, before joining Ewing in 2006.

Through outstanding customer service, quality products and continuing education, Nichols aims to make Ewing the partner of choice for hardscape contractors in the Northwest.
