January 28, 2008, Phoenix, Ariz.—With constant growth throughout the United States, Ewing brings on board Mike Jones, National Account Sales Representative, to facilitate job operations at the local level for multi-territorial companies.

Based in Little Elm, Texas, Jones collaborates with Jeff Zwick, National Key Accounts Manager, to cover nationwide accounts emphasizing his efforts in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.
“My career has been built on putting the customer first and understanding their needs,” Jones said. “By bringing this winning combination to Ewing, I plan to continue its growth trend by developing new business, especially in the Midwest.” With the current housing slump affecting the residential market, Jones will focus his attention on commercial construction and maintenance projects. Entering his eighteenth year of service in the irrigation industry, Jones started his career in 1990 as a warehouse/delivery driver in the distribution channel while attending the University of Arkansas. After graduation, Jones switched gears to work in the golf irrigation field, before turning his focus to owning and operating an Arkansas-based irrigation contracting business. After retiring his business in 2001, he worked for Rain Bird before landing at Ewing.
A Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) through the Irrigation Association (IA), Jones is active in the Lone Star Irrigation Association and the Dallas Irrigation Association.
