Colorado Springs landscape professionals get a new distributor option on the East side of town.
Phoenix, Ariz.— Ewing Irrigation Products, a Phoenix-based wholesale distributor of landscape and irrigation products, will open its seventh Colorado branch in Colorado Springs.
Expected to open mid-May, the 10,500-sqaure-foot store and warehouse built by Woodland Park-based Johnson & Associates and designed by Jack B. Paulson & Associates of Colorado Springs is located at 2705 Capital Dr. near the major intersections of Constitution Avenue and State Highway 24. This location will supplement Ewing’s central Colorado Springs branch located at 4634 Northpark Drive.
“The Eastern Colorado Springs corridor will be the epicenter of future growth once the residential and commercial sectors regain momentum,” said Dennis Slibsager, manager of the new branch. “Landscape companies, developers, golf courses and other businesses operating on the east side of town now have access to a more convenient Ewing location.”
Slibsager, a 30-year Green Industry veteran who specializes in landscape lighting, water features and irrigation, has been working with Ewing for 24 years and formerly served as manager of Ewing’s central Colorado Springs location.
Assuming Slibsager’s role of manager at the central location is Dave Linder, an 11-year Ewing veteran who specializes in horticulture and has worked in the Green Industry in various capacities for 25 years.
Both Linder and Slibsager will continue working with industry associations and local municipalities to further promote water-efficient irrigation products and best management practices.
