March 22, 2010, San Luis Obispo, Calif.—Landscape contractors in San Luis Obispo have a more convenient way to get what they need with the opening of Ewing’s new location in San Luis Obispo.
Local contractors are welcome to attend the grand reopening on March 26 to engage with Ewing staff and select manufacturers, enjoy a BBQ lunch and a one-day-only special of 10 percent off purchases of $100 or more. The 11,700 square-foot store boasts three times more space than the previous location, a classroom, a larger parking lot and pipe yard, and more products on hand to serve customers.
Contractors are invited to use the classroom when they come into the branch to prepare their take-off lists or to hold meetings and trainings, said branch manager Aaron Huxley. Ewing will also host workshops and other training opportunities at the branch for landscape professionals throughout the year.
With the added space, the branch is well stocked with fertilizers, bark, hydroseed and other turf products, Huxley said. Other Ewing offerings include irrigation and water management, hardscape, landscape lighting, erosion control, water features and other specialty products used by professionals serving the landscape, turf, golf and industrial plastics industries.
The new location, 675 Tank Farm Road, is less than a mile from the former Broad Street/Highway 227 location, near U.S. 101/Highway 1 and Highway 227.
Ewing has served customers in San Luis Obispo since 2002 and moved to the current location in December 2009.
