Sept. 20, 2021 PHOENIX—Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply recently established new executive leadership positions, filled with internal promotions.

Phil Kerchner, Eastern Territory President

To better serve green industry contractors, Ewing’s operational structure is now divided into three territories, each led by the following: Phil Kerchner as the Eastern Territory President, Sean Wimble as the Central Territory President and Bill Snider as the Western Territory President. In addition to the realignment of Ewing’s field operational leadership, Aaron Budimlija, will now be leading the company’s expansion efforts as Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Sean Wimble, Central Territory President

Budimlija, Kerchner, Wimble and Snider were all previously Ewing Division Vice Presidents prior to their promotions.

“As we continue to grow as a national distributor, we are proactively updating our organizational structure to effectively and efficiently manage our company. These new territories will better align our strategic efforts nationwide, allow greater focus on expansion opportunities and elevate localized support for our customers as they lean on us as their business partner,” said Douglas W. York, President & CEO.

Bill Snider, Western Territory President

The new Territory Presidents will be responsible for the field operations and strategic growth and development in their markets. Within the territories, Ewing branches will remain in regions and divisions, providing localized leadership and focus on customer relationships, support and engagement.

With a focus on business development and expansion, Ewing will continue to look for organic growth opportunities, as well as strategic acquisition partnerships.

Aaron Budimlija, EVP, Business Development

Leveraging his experience launching Ewing Landscape Materials, Budimlija will strategically evaluate targeted acquisitions in select markets across the country. As consumer demand for hardscape and bulk landscaping materials increases throughout the industry, Budimlija will initially focus on efforts to expand in this category to provide greater accessibility to products for Ewing customers.

“Aaron, Phil, Sean and Bill have been valued members of Ewing’s executive team for years and I am confident in their leadership for our customer-centric strategies and field operations. Their ongoing collaboration and alignment will provide us the structure and stability for our ongoing growth, as we near our century mark as a company,” further explains York.

With employee growth and development as a core company initiative, these internal promotions are excellent examples of Ewing’s commitment to career growth, as Budimlija, Wimble and Snider all began their careers at Ewing over 20 years ago in branches, while Kerchner started as a Ewing Regional Manager in 2018 after decades of experience in the green industry. The new territory alignment has also created additional opportunities for other Ewing leaders around the country, including new Division Vice President and Regional Manager positions.
