Sept. 30, 2019, PHOENIX— Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply recently promoted Phil Kerchner to the Eastern Division Vice President. Kerchner joined Ewing in the spring of 2018 as the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager.

“Having Phil assume the division leadership role was a natural fit. He’s done an exceptional job of bringing Ewing’s culture and quality service level into the northeast and I’m confident he will continue to lead our Eastern Division with that same success,” said Douglas W. York, Ewing’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Kerchner has more than 35 years in the green industry, with more than 20 years of previous experience as a Vice President, successfully leading as many as 160 locations. Previously her served as the Business Development Director at Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting. His role there was to find new market opportunities and support the individual district sales managers in the eastern U.S. Prior to Vista, Kerchner was with John Deere Landscapes for 19 years, most recently serving as their Regional Vice President. Kerchner earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Forestry from West Virginia University.
