Nov. 2, 2011, Phoenix, Ariz. — Specializing in landscape irrigation and troubleshooting, Boyd Monk is prepared to assist you with any job, large or small. As manager of Ewing’s Lubbock, Texas location, Boyd oversees branch operations, cultivates and maintains customer relationships, and provides sales support and business development opportunities for his customers in West Texas and eastern New Mexico.
Boyd’s responsibilities include employee management, inventory management, branch marketing and events, residential and commercial sales and account management. His goal is to provide the best service and respect to his customers, thus proving the value of doing business with Ewing. “What I enjoy most are the personal relationships with customers that I often establish quickly,” Boyd said.
From 1981 to 1999, Boyd worked as an irrigation contractor in Lubbock. He moved to Fort Worth in 2000 to work for a Texas-based supplier. He joined Ewing in 2009 as store manager in Odessa, Tex. Boyd returned to Lubbock and became branch manager in 2011.
Outside of work, Boyd enjoys spending time with his wife of 24 years, D.K., his daughter, Jessica, and son-in-law Jason, and granddaughters Jade, 15, and Jillian, 11. Boyd also enjoys golfing and working in his yard.
